  • A majority of employers agree that attendance (66%), productivity (63%), and emotional well being (61%) are all harmfully affected by employees’ personal problems.
  • Ninety-four percent of employers agree that employees feel greater loyalty to companies that are willing to help them with their personal problems, and 87% believe they work harder.
  • While 50% believe they should not get involved in employees’ personal problems, 70% say that employers owe it to employees to help them cope.
